Become a Job Coach

A Job Coach provides structured, individualized support to adults with disabilities within community workplaces. This role includes skill-building, workplace communication support, collaboration with employers, and promoting long-term employment stability. Job Coaches are adaptive, observant, and consistent. The role requires professionalism, sound judgment, and clear communication.

As a Job Coach, you are expected to:

  • Communicate professionally with consumers, families, employers, and leadership

  • Maintain appropriate workplace boundaries at all times

  • Follow documentation and billing standards accurately and timely

  • Demonstrate emotional regulation and sound judgment

  • Accept feedback with professionalism and growth mindset

  • Be consistent, punctual, and dependable

  • Represent CHOICE with integrity in community workplaces
